HI, My name is Bruce Grant and for forty years I have been involved in the Building and Renovation business. As an investor, builder, renovator, and cabinetmaker. Many of those years I served clients in Gravenhurst, Orillia, Midland, Port Carling, Bala, Bracebridge, Parry Sound, and Muskoka.  That's real hands on experience.
 

Education is just as critical as experience.

Understanding the technical and mechanical aspects of the systems in a home is also extremely important.

That's why so far I have invested over 1200 hours in educational training as well.

InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector with over 200 hours of inspector training constantly ongoing and updating.

Carson Dunlop Home Inspections Training Program graduate www.carsondunlop.com with 480 hours of home inspection specific education.   Carson Dunlop provides home inspection course content to Canadian colleges for their home inspection programs, and in some cases provides technical support for the college students via e-mail.)

Done Right Home Inspections is pleased to announce the addition of another Certified Home Inspector to our team of professionals serving the Orillia, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Muskoka district.

Christopher  Grant,  Certified by InterNACHI, (the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors), and a long time on site assistant now joins Certified Master Inspector, Bruce to provide Barrie Orillia, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, and all of Muskoka to provide an even better inspection service.

Christopher Grant, a certified Inspector with InterNACHI is now working in Orillia, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, and Muskoka as part of the Done Right Home Inspections team undertaking Home, Cottage, and commercial inspections. His addition to the firm brings a wealth of experience in construction. 10 years in footings to finished shell experience as well as assisting in the finish out of many of them gives him an eye for things that don't seem just right.  With two inspectors on site waiting times for busy clients and realtors alike will be reduced without sacrificing the thoroughness Done Right Home Inspections clients have come to expect. As this photo shows, we climb ladders and inspect roofs even when they and the site are snow covered. In the photo Christopher has climbed up the ladder to the first level to remove some snow to photo document the shingles. This process will be repeated for each level of roof and at several points around each level giving a clear picture of the roof surface condition

Shorter on site times for busy clients and realtors.

 We realize that many of our clients lead very busy lives and may have to travel some distance to the inspection sites. Scheduling travel and on site time for inspections that can take many hours for larger homes and cottages involving docks, boathouses, lifts, septic, and the many other elements that need inspection can be difficult. Christopher's addition to the team will allow shorter on site wait times for busy clients and realtors alike while providing additional eyes and experience for finding any issues.  His 10 year background in taking a building from footings to closed in shells provides our team with even greater structural and roofing system knowledge.

Done Right Home Inspections has a Licensed Electrician and a Licensed HVAC Technician on call for Inspection purposes. Like our inspectors, as part of our team they do not do any recommended repair or replacement work on the homes, cottages, or commercial installations they inspect : but they are there if needed to inspect and advise.
