This cottage North of Orillia in Muskoka is a Timberframe hybrid and required a home inspection done right to protect the owner, the general contractor, and the mover. Not only did I inspect the structural soundness prior to the move, but I documented all the cosmetic finishes as well. The flooring, wall finishes, the bath and kitchen finishes, the siding, windows, roofing, the brick fireplace and chimneys, and much much more. Log and timberframe home inspections are a specialty of Done Right Home Inspections.

I follow a simple business ideal.
I owe my Client's an experienced, educated, and professional, home and property inspection.
I owe the commercial property, cottage, or home being inspected, an unbiased and through evaluation.

My dedication to client service means I make myself available to my clients.
Not just during the inspection but even long after the report.
On average reports are normally 50 or more pages.
To make them easy to understand they contain 180 plus photos.
This documents not just defects but the whole building and it's components
on the day of inspection.
I encourage clients to accompany me on the inspection.
Please ask any questions you may have then and call or e-mail me with
questions or concerns you may have after you get the report.
If your legal counsel, or your realtor have any concerns after the inspection with your permission I can speak with them to address any issues as well.
I try to ensure my clients understand the answers to the four major questions every home cottage or commercial inspection deals with.
-
What, if any, are the issues with the property?
-
What is the cause and effect of the issue.
-
What is involved in fixing the issue.
-
What is the importance of the issue in the overall picture.
Buying or selling, my unbiased and through inspections give my clients the peace of mind and information they need to make a well informed decision.
